PressGo (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is a WordPress plugin that generates Elementor landing pages using AI. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the PressGo plugin.
Information We Collect
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The PressGo plugin runs entirely within your WordPress installation. We do not have user accounts, analytics, tracking, or telemetry of any kind.
External Services
The PressGo plugin connects to two external services during page generation:
1. PressGo Configuration Server (wp.pressgo.app)
When you generate a page, the plugin retrieves its AI instruction set from wp.pressgo.app over HTTPS. This request contains no user data — it only fetches the page-building instructions that tell the AI how to structure its output. The response is cached locally on your WordPress site for 6 hours. No personal information, page content, or prompts are sent to this server.
2. Anthropic Claude API (api.anthropic.com)
When you click “Generate Page,” your text prompt (and optional uploaded image) is sent to Anthropic’s Claude API at api.anthropic.com over HTTPS using your own API key. The API returns a structured page configuration, which the plugin converts into native Elementor elements entirely on your WordPress site.
PressGo does not act as an intermediary for this API call — your WordPress site communicates directly with Anthropic. We have no access to your API key, prompts, or generated content. Anthropic’s handling of your data is governed by their own policies:
Data Storage
All data generated by PressGo (page content, Elementor JSON, configuration) is stored locally in your WordPress database. Your Claude API key is stored in your WordPress options table, encrypted at rest by your hosting environment. We have no access to your WordPress site or its data.
Cookies and Tracking
PressGo does not set any cookies, use any analytics, or include any tracking scripts. The plugin uses only standard WordPress admin cookies that WordPress itself manages.
Children’s Privacy
PressGo is a developer tool intended for WordPress site administrators. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
